There is a tea room within Tim Hardie's showroom providing tea, coffee and light refreshments throughout the day. The menu consists of homemade soup, freshly filled rolls and sandwhiches made to order with a variety of fillings such as free range rustic egg mayonnaise, Scottish home cured ham and chutney, smoked makerel pate or mature cheddar and tomato.
Toasted sandwhiches and bacon rolls are also available.
Carrot cake, shortbread, scones, muffins, rhubarb and apple tarts and pastries such as yum-yums and strawberry danishes are all delivered daily by Fisher and Donaldson along with the Dr. Floyd bread, floury white rolls and oatie rolls we use for our fillings.
Braithwaites provide us with our coffee beans, which are roasted on their premises in Castle Street in Dundee.
Sandwhich fillings, soup and special dishes will vary from day to day and include wild game terrine with toast, salad and dressing.
The fish van also comes to Rait Antique Centre on a Thursday morning where you can buy fresh produce.
There is also a stall selling wonderful, locally produced fresh vegetables when in season.
Freshly laid eggs are also available to buy and take home - come and try them!
Families are welcome
